Information & Program
Are you considering joining us for the Mentelity Games, taking place from Sunday, March 23 to Saturday, March 29, 2025? Then find all kinds of practical information about the trip here. Do you still have questions after reading this page? Then check to see if your question can be found on the FAQ page. If not, you can contact the organization.
Personal care and care
The Mentelity Games organization follows the rule that each participant is responsible for his or her own personal care and any care required.
Location and route.
The Mentelity Games are organized in Saas-Grund, Switzerland. Each participant will be told before departure which accommodation he or she is assigned to and will receive the exact address. Should you come with your own transportation, we recommend taking the route by car train Lötschberg, via Kandersted and Goppenstein.
You can also choose to travel to Saas-Grund by train. There is a good train connection from Utrecht to Basel (during the day and also as NightJet); from Basel take the train via Bern to Visp. From Visp, the Postbus takes 42 minutes to Saas-Grund. Total travel time then comes down to about 9:50 hours.
Bus
Do you opt for a Mentelity Games bus ticket? Then keep in mind that the bus leaves late Saturday evening March 22 in the Bilthoven area and drops everyone off there Saturday evening March 29. The bus is wheelchair accessible. The number of seats is limited, so we advise you to reserve your seat in time.
Ski equipment and day-days
The organization will help all participants find the right, appropriate ski equipment. For seated skiers a number of fitting days are organized for choosing the right equipment. This will be done at the VGW in Huizen. It is mandatory for all seated skiers to come and try on the equipment on one of these days.
Standard ski and snowboard equipment can be rented in Switzerland.
