The 12-Hour Challenge 2024 was a great success!!💥💥 Down the slopes in the middle of the night, partying in the party gondola, and raising money for the Mentelity games at the same time. At 00:00 on Saturday, March 16, Derk (31 years old) was on the slopes of Saas-Grund in Switzerland ready to participate in the 12-hour Challenge. In Personal Injury magazine he tells about his experience.💚"In all respects I experienced my participation in this challenge as a kind of personal process. Not just participating, but everything around it: the preparations of setting up a crowdfunding and motivating people to donate. These are all things that put a positive spin on my mind, so to speak. I also started thinking more about my own physical challenge myself again and realized that skiing is a thread that runs through my life. Because I had signed myself up for the challenge as an individual, I formed a relay team with two Americans I didn't know. This did require me to get out of my comfort zone. As a result, I met even more new people, which was fun. The experience of skiing at night was also very special. That was another reason for me to participate in this challenge. When I saw all those people together during the night, it immediately became clear why we are all doing this together: skiing is so fantastic!"

RE-ABLED DAY💚 Today was the second Re-Abled Day at the Friendship Sports Centre in Amsterdam. In collaboration with @frankjol's team, we organized a day where the participants of our Re-Abled program came together. An informative session took place where plans were discussed and there was room for input and questions. Ambassador @sophieonland was also present for an inspiring Talk, and the day ended with a sports session by Freek Jol. 🦿💪🏼 Another great connecting day! Thank you everyone for being there.

Push your limits and get moving. 💚 At the Bibian Mentel Foundation, we motivate people to get moving and pursue their dreams. No matter how big the first step. For us, being able to overcome, grow and develop is the essence of a good life.With the various activities we organize, we literally and figuratively get people moving. By setting and achieving goals we give more self-confidence to the participants of our projects.

We just got back from the snow, but there are already some great summer activities on our agenda for which you can get your tickets. On June 29 we will organize the Mentelity Beach Day! 🌼During this day we will show you what sports are possible on and around the beach, an ideal day out for families and groups of friends. On the day itself we will provide the appropriate equipment for everyone, physically challenging or not.After a day full of exercise and fun, the event will end with a joint barbecue and a sunset.Do you want to be there? We are still enjoying another wonderful edition of the Mentelity Games.💜💜💜It was an amazingly beautiful week in which boundaries were pushed and self-confidence grew. "Because the Mentelity Games don't leave you in the snow, they take you home. Thanks again so much to everyone who did their part. See you next year!❄️

Today marks 3 years since we parted

Today it has been 3 years since we said goodbye to our founder and greatest inspiration. Still every day we work with so much love to continue your dream. Forever 🫶🏼

RECAP DAY 5. The last day of the Mentelity Gam

RECAP DAY 5. We finished the last day of the Mentelity Games beautifully. After still having lessons in the morning, there was a slalom competition in the afternoon to put to use one last time what was learned this week.💥 To reflect on the impressive stories of the participants, we then had a beautiful closing ceremony. In it, the Stars of Mentelity were awarded and tears of happiness flowed. The connection and love could be felt throughout the room. How much we enjoyed!!!
