12-Hour Challenge & Mentelity Games

Then we have a great internship for you!

In March 2025 we are organizing two winter sports events in Switzerland and as an intern you will help us make the events a success. Of course, you will also go along yourself!

Internship period: from December or January 2024 to April or May 2025
Working days: 32 hours per week (2 days at the office in Bilthoven, 2 days of your choice at home or in the office)
Subject area: marketing, sales & event management

Bibian Mentel Foundation

That's why we motivate them to get moving and pursue their dreams. No matter how small or big the first step. We do this by organizing cool sports activities, among other things. What will you do?
You will support the project manager in various activities with the preparation and execution of the two events in Switzerland. In addition, we will transfer delineated parts entirely to your responsibility. The emphasis will be on recruiting participants for the 12-hour Challenge.

Your tasks:
Sending information to interested parties, following up these contacts by phone
Processing registrations, requesting and structuring information
Answering questions from (potential) participants
Organize and attend information evenings (physical, online)
Recruiting and maintaining contact with participants of the 12-hour Challenge
Working out program elements and organizing them on location (welcome meeting, bingo night, pub quiz, etc.)
Practical organization and preparation
Approach companies for sponsorship, record and execute agreements

What you need.
You are suitable for this internship position if you ...
Can work independently, keep an overview and work in a structured way
Have a pro-active attitude
Think in possibilities and take up challenges
Like to be in contact with people and want to take the first step
are able to maintain contacts via e-mail and telephone (B2C & B2B) in a decent manner
Are motivated to make a difference for our target group
Have an affinity with winter sports and our mission
Have knowledge of setting up a video live stream (not a requirement, but an advantage)
You are at least in year 3 of an HBO education that fits the job (think sports administration, business administration, marketing or tourism management).

At our foundation you will have the opportunity to gain experience in the field of sports, event management, sales & marketing. With your work you will give people a different perspective on life by offering them a unique experience. And you yourself will experience wonderful moments. Occasionally you will work weekends or evenings. You will have the opportunity to not only prepare for the 12-hour Challenge and the Mentelity Games, but you will also go with us to Switzerland to contribute to the organization. We will be in Switzerland from March 18 to 29, 2025. You will work in a small and dynamic team where you can see and learn a lot. Our office location is Bilthoven, where we often have a nice lunch together with the team.
