Snowboard Fundag on September 12 at SnowWorld Landgraaf: will you come too?

The Mentelity Foundation in cooperation with IT4Kids is organizing a Snowboard Fund Day at SnowWorld in Landgraaf on September 12. During the event, children and young adults with physical challenges* will be introduced to snowboarding. Will you come too?

The Snowboard Fund Day is intended as a kick-off for the teaching program that the Mentelity Foundation will offer in Landgraaf: The Mentelity Snowboard School Landgraaf, powered by IT4Kids. During the course, participants will be offered ten snowboarding lessons and will be trained weekly by teachers from SnowWorld who have completed a training course with the Mentelity Foundation.

In addition to the children and young adults, their siblings, parents and friends are also welcome during the Snowboard Fund Day, which is open to any skill level. The goal of the day is to enjoy together in the snow and get introduced to a new sport: Snowboarding!

The program for the Snowboard Fun Day on Sept. 12 is as follows:

10:00 a.m.: Reception at SnowWorld Landgraaf
10:30 a.m.: Official opening of the Snowboard Fun Day, changing and equipment fitting
11:00 a.m.: Start of the clinic on the slopes
13:00 hrs: End of the clinic
13:30 hrs: Joint conclusion of the Snowboard Fun Day

The Mentelity Foundation is opening the new Snowboard School location in partnership with IT4Kids, a foundation dedicated to helping children for whom sports and play cannot be taken for granted due to financial or physical limitations. IT4Kids collects used and depreciated hardware and, on behalf of the donor, donates its value to charity projects dedicated to providing sports opportunities to disadvantaged children.
