Making a difference together with colleagues: TCK Sports Group participated in the 12-Hour Challenge for the 4th time this year, making a commitment to people with physical challenges. With a team of colleagues, TCK Sports Group spent 12 hours skiing and snowboarding to raise money for the Mentelity Games - a unique skiing and snowboarding event for people with physical challenges. During the Mentelity Games, participants not only learn to (sit) ski or snowboard, but also learn to overcome fears, experience that they can do more than they think and develop new self-confidence.

Michel van den Adel, Brand Manager at TCK Sports Group, looks back: "Every year we participate in the 12-hour Challenge with a different group of colleagues. The colleagues come from different departments of our company and during such a trip you get to know each other in a completely different way than at work. And then suddenly you have to go up the mountain in the middle of the night to go skiing, which is quite exciting! But you are not alone. You support each other and work together to complete the 12 hours. A unique experience that really creates a bond!"

And colleagues who are not going with us to Switzerland are also helping out, explains Michel van den Adel: "Leading up to the 12-hour Challenge, we involve all colleagues to raise as much money as possible. With fun actions such as baking pancakes with the management, a nice amount of money is raised every year, which finds a good destination with the Mentelity Games. At the Games, people learn to think in terms of possibilities after an illness or accident and experience the great feeling of being outside together and playing sports together. It is a very concrete goal and the participants really get a lot out of it for their personal development. Nice that we can contribute to this."
